Fishing wasn’t just a hobby for me; it was a family tradition. My dad, a devoted angler, passed down not only his passion for the sport but also his trusty fishing vest. While I loved the sentiment behind it, the vest itself wasn’t designed with women in mind, it was boxy, bulky, and didn’t make me feel my best on the water. When I searched for fishing gear tailored to a woman’s body, I quickly realized how limited the options were.

That’s why I created Dame. I wanted to design fishing apparel that empowers women to feel confident and capable while doing what they love. Every piece is thoughtfully crafted to provide both functionality and style because I believe that women shouldn’t have to compromise one for the other.
